2021 marked the 190th anniversary of Albert Anker’s birth, and in the same year the art pavilion was completed in the garden of the Künstlerhaus. To mark the occasion, 190 oak dowels bearing the Centre Albert Anker logo were installed across the facades. The dowel, as a key structural element, holds the wooden pavilion together. In total, just under 3,000 dowels were used in the new building.
Donations towards one of the 190 anniversary dowels helped to support the construction of the Centre Albert Anker.
