Visit historic residence and authentic studio

A tour of the house gives you a feel for the Anker family’s middle-class lifestyle, with most of the original interior fittings still in place. One of the highlights is the unique and almost completely unchanged studio in the attic. It’s one of the last authentic 19th-century artists’ studios left in Europe.

Group size: 1 to 15 people or 16 to 30 people

For large groups of up to 30 people, we divide them into two groups on site. While one group takes part in the guided tour, the other group can visit the permanent and special exhibitions individually.

Times: Tuesday to Thursday, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., freely selectable.

Duration of the tour: approx. 45 minutes
Allow sufficient time to view the permanent and special exhibition. We recommend a stay of 1.5 hours for groups of up to 15 people and 2 hours for groups of up to 30 people.

Would you like to have drinks afterwards? Please contact us by email at info@centrealbertanker.ch and we will be happy to provide you with a personalised offer.

To book a tour for your group, select the appropriate date in the calendar.

Guided tours for groups

Special guided tour: Architecture of the Centre Albert Anker

Tradition meets innovation: the listed artists’ house, built in 1803 as a typical Seeland farmhouse, stands in dialogue with the newly built, contemporary art pavilion. For interested groups, experts explain the architecture of the two buildings in detail and reveal the exciting stories hidden in the building components, rooms and details.

Afterwards, visitors can view the permanent and special exhibition at their leisure.

Duration: 45 minutes
Price: CHF 200 + CHF 10 admission per person
