‘Albert Anker was my first introduction to art. We had an art print of the municipal clerk hanging in my parents’ house, and I still feel a certain closeness to his works today. Working at the Centre Albert Anker will allow me to engage with the artist in a scholarly way once again, which I am very much looking forward to.’
