Kick-off to the new main season with additional staff

Since the Centre Albert Anker opened in June 2024, many visitors have been welcomed and inspired by the life and work of Swiss national artist Albert Anker. After the first successful year of operation, it became clear that the team needed to be strengthened. The Board of Trustees of the Albert Anker House Ins has therefore adapted the operational organisation. Barbara Glenz will take over the overall management of the Albert Anker Centre from June 2025.

The new main season begins with the opening of the second temporary exhibition Faszination Japan. Die Sammlung von Albert Anker – La fascination du Japon. La collection d’Albert Anker (Fascination with Japan. The Collection of Albert Anker) in the art Pavilion from 24 May to 21 September 2025. Read more
