The roof of Albert Anker Haus is being renovated

After intense preparatory work to secure the inventory, the renovation of the roof was commenced. The roof truss was controlled and cleaned, aswell. Where necessary, small reparations were conducted.

The former easter face could be uncovered and will contribute to the future exhibiton space in all its beauty.

Apart from the work on the roof, structures of the former economic section and the operational flat could be returned into its original state. At that, new and valuable information about the constructional development aswell as the state of the building could be gained. This led to an adaption of certain aspects of the project and a temporary halt of the construction work.

The power and water lines for future needs were put into place. Apart from this development the foot needed to be fortified.
