Cercle CAA Society

The goal of the society is to support and promote the activities of the artist’s house and residential quarters. The funds from the membership fees are particularly important in regard to making special exhibitions and events possible. Society members can also volunteer to participate in the organization and implementation of events at the Centre Albert Anker.

2021 marked the 190th anniversary of Albert Anker’s birth, and it was in this very year that the art pavilion was completed. To mark the occasion, 190 oak dowels bearing the Centre Albert Anker logo were distributed across the façade. The dowel is the central component that holds the wooden pavilion together. A total of almost 3,000 dowels were used in the construction of the art pavilion.

The Centre Albert Anker was supported with a donation of dowels.
